There is a reason for this. Moses is a type of the coming Deliverer. This coming Messiah is the Alpha and Omega, ie from the eternal. The text purposely left out the name of Moses' mother to be a type of the coming One. If you know this, you will notice many things such as a slaughter of innocent children in a failed attempt to kill him who was to set the captives free. There are many other types that fulfill the model. In fact, there is a list out there that shows 100 ways that Moses is a type of Christ.

Take for instance Melchizedek. He came to Abram in Genesis 14. There is no record of him being born, nor record of him dying as noted in Psalm 110:4. The writer of Hebrews (ref. Heb. 5-7) shows this to be a type of Jesus, who was without a beginning and who is without end.

This is why, at the birth of Moses, his mother's name is not mentioned. However, it is mentioned later in Exodus 6:20 and confirmed in Numbers 26:59.

As for being an alien. All who believe in the God of the Bible are pilgrims and aliens in this world. We're all just "passing through".

The Bible does explain some of that Read Exodus 1 : 1-7

Now these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt; every man and his household came with Jacob.

2 Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah,

3 Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin,

4 Dan, and Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

5 And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt already.

6 And Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation.

7 And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.

8 Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph.

Moses Mom was also his great aunt. His father married an aunt of his.

Abraham's wife Sarah was his half sister.

Abrahams brother married his own niece.

Marrying a close relative was not forbidden until Mosaic law.

I have the actual verses in my notes I can look up but not from memory if you want to see actual location.

Amram was the father of Moses, Jochebed was the mother of Moses. Both were of the tribe of Levi.

Lots of things aren't mentioned in the Bible. Doesn't mean they didn't happen.
