Steve was a show man. he was fortunate to be handed a zoo . He was sincere in his work to do the best he could with looking after these creatures. So he was also a business man and it payed off for his family finacially but unfortunately not for himself .

His behaviour with wild animals - and captive animals - was not always in the best interest of the animals. He was very lucky he wasn't prosecuted for his behaviour in Antarctica when he broke a number of laws regarding Antarctic wildlife.

yeah, he used to capture Gibbins then sit outside their cage antogonising them with the biggest juiciest hand of bananas and trail mix from Woolworths.

no he loved the animals that was his passion to take care of wildlife and learn as much as possible so and his personality was great he didn't taunt the animals thats life
