See? Science is trying to make the bible even smaller. Can't they make it even smaller, so that no one will ever be able to read it?

If you want a big yard I recommend for you to look for an older home. Although yards are not as big as other states in CA since property is very expensive and also utilities, watering a lawn gets very expensive. I used to have a big yard and my water and power bill added up to 700 a month! New builders are definitely building smaller yards.

Science is trying make the bible smaller?

Well for one, "science" is a pretty broad term and secondly I thought publishers and printers manufactured bibles.

What the hell does science have to do with making bibles?

I think you have taken the information in the linked article WAY out of context.

The bible shouldn't be interfered with at all. It is the inspired word of God.
If everyone read and applied what they read the world wouldn't be such a mess.
Besides people read books thicker than the bible when they are studying for their high degrees. Those other books won't help them get eternal life or a good relationship with the creator.

Look, i respect the scientists.. Why can't they respect the Christians?

They can make it smaller, but nobody says that they're going to sell it like that. Besides, your humor isn't funny.

To Barbara: You make a marvelous point on the scientists wasting their time shrinking Bibles when they could be looking for cures to diseases. you rock.

hey be optimistic...there are good reasons why they make the bible smaller...i'll give one of mine...so that people can take it with them when they go to saudi arabia, where it is prohibited, without being detected...imagine paying 500 or 600 riyals when they caught you with a bible.

"The tiny Bible was developed as part of an educational drive to increase interest in nanoscience among teenagers."

Most would have preferred Moby Dick or War and Peace

To paraphrase a famous actor (or actress); there are no small bibles; only small readers.
