Okay, so i got my period last month a week after i had sex, an havent had sex ssince(long distance raltionship)i took 2 tests prior to 12/14/07. I started spotting exactly 1 week before i was suppopsed to start my placebo pill. 12/14/07 is when i had surgery, unrelated, and they took a pt, and it came back neg. i was put on pain killers and antibiotics. i started my placebo time on pill, b/c no one directed me otherwise. when i started my placebo, it was heavier then the spotting, but still not like a regular period. Also, my "period" i have had crampsToday, which will be the 4th day of my placebo pill, is is lighter than ever. My question is, is there a possibility i could still be pregnant? OR is it from all the mediction. I took all the antibiotics and that was yesterday morning or the night before, and stopped taking the pain killers yesterday morning about 9 b/c it was making me too sick, and i could run errands. Today, i think i am waking up with migraine. What do you think??

Antibiotics can make birth control pills become ineffective...leading to pregnancy possibly if you don't use condoms or abstinence while on the antibiotics...

Always check with your doctor if you have headaches during pregnancy. Check for extreme water retention and make sure you lay on you left or right side for at least 20 mins. a day. Fluids are VERY important. Drink a lot a water, milk and juices. Soda counts against you. If the headache feels like a throbbing that gets worse when you lay down and better when you stand up, call your doctor right away. You could be pre-Eclamptic. The headache is a 24 hour warning to get to a hospital. But it is a VERY specific headache and extreme water retention is also involved. NOT AWAYS blood pressure or protein in urine. There have been cases of pre-Eclampsia extending after delivery. Just take good care of yourself and if you feel something isn't right MAKE someone listen to you. Don't be polite.

You're not pregnant. Antibiotics really throw hormones for a loop when you're on the b/c. Migraines are common when you're having you period and also when you're on the pill. It's sounds like you may have been put on the pill for ovarian cysts. Your misery should end soon. Hot bath and a cup of tea should help. Good luck.

No I don't think your pregnant. The only way that you could be pregnant is if that period you had last mth was actually implantation bleeding. Which I highly doubt because you said you took a pregnancy test this mth and it came back negative if you were pregnant it would have already been a positive. Good luck.

Could you be pregnant? Unlikely. Possible, but highly unlikely.

When you have your appointment, talk to the physician about this. It is unlikely to be a side effect of the antibiotics, but it could be related to the surgery.

I do not think that you are pregnant. Antibiotics stop your birthcontrol from working right, so it was probably just the other meds that you were taking.
