When people hear "Aryan" some automatically think of the Aryan Brotherhood and white supremacy.

What exactly does the Aryan race mean? What exactly are they?

Aryans are white, blond with blue eyes. The "Master Race".

The terms Aryan and Master Race was most used in Germany during the 1930's and 1940's under the Nazi's and Adolph Hitler. But it still remains in use today - by people who still think the way the Nazi's did.

Aryan has a historical background

It later became known as a reference used in speeches by the elected leader of Germany in the 1930's and 40's as a descriptive term of what the German government desired as a model of the ideal German "type" person for the mass of Germans to desire to follow.This was done during a time of great economic depression when all of Germany was starving,weak and unemployed and needed a heroic stereotype to follow and or emulate,just as today people want to be like movie stars,athletes and other artist in the media. There was far less mass communication at that time and this mythical Aryan type was use to attempt to create in the Germans mind a kinship with a highly desirable character of perfect harmony with nature-The Aryan.This concept worked remarkably well and so well that because of this and a series of economic self made miracles, Adolph Hitler was able to turn the German economy around and save millions of Germans from starvation and death in less than a decade.There after everyone wanted to be known an "Aryan" ,not realistically but euphemistly as today many want to be known as a rock star or intellectual.The process then quickly became ingrained into the popular German culture in the news papers and government documents to identify individuals who were genetic Germanic descendent's traceable and documented back multiple generations AKA -Aryan.

The Aryans were an ETHNIC GROUP in ancient times who originally lived in the southern part of Russia. They branched off and settled in a lot of places in Europe and Asia. It's believed that a lot of them had light eyes and light hair, but no one knows for sure if that was really the case.
