Russia and it isn't who you think it is you'll see everyone will after the rapture. This man is a politician or diplomat who is alive and laying low at this very moment he will not reveal himself until it's his time.....
He will con this World into believing he is good he will create a one World Government and a false peace and then he'll put this World through the worst hell ever.
Everyone living on this planet will receive his mark if they want to buy goods or survive and anyone who rejects it will be killed.

From what I understand, Revelation was written as the end times for Christians in Rome. The Roman Emperor, Nero was the anti-Christ and he killed many Christians during his reign!
I grew up and believing that Revelation was the end of the world. After some reading of Rev. closer and looking at historical facts, my mind changed. The Bible is a mystery to be revealed!
What do you think?
If I had to pick one from Europe, it would be Putin. Russia is headed for communism again, in my opinion.

Where's the verse in Revelation that says specifically that the antichrist will come from Europe? Post it please?
To answer your question, though, there are many antichrists already in the world now: the pope, RC 'priests', etc. Satan uses such people to lure people away from the truth: God's word. They're teachings are false doctrines and their rituals have nothing to do with the bible. The bible says to "try the spirits to see if they are of God. Those who confess that Jesus is come from the Father are of God - saved by Christ. Those who do not confess that Jesus is the Son of God are NOT of God because they are without God in their heart.

Biblical scholarship has shown that much of Revelation is allegory.
I'm not unconvinced that the concept of "anti-Christ" is part of that allegory.

It is human vanity to want to believe that the world will not continue for thousands (or millions) of years after their death. Unfortunately, such a worldview does not lead people to strive to make the world a better place for future generations.

hmmm, a book that was written by a man in isolation almost 100 years after the death of Christ.
Was he hallucinating? Can future tragedies be averted? Were the stories more of a "warning" of what would happen IF people did not "change" for the better?

Anti- in this context means one who pretends to take the place of. I think it refers to that dude with "vicar of the Son of "gad"" on his miter.
