The gas station charged my credit card twice with two different amounts. Of course I only filled up once with just one receipt. I hope it was not intentional. But you never know. How do they do it to your credit card either intentional or just a mistake. How do they process your credit card technically in either case?

It could be that the transaction didn't clear the pump and the next person just charged on your card. Dispute the charge with your credit card company.

Do you have your receipts? you will possibly be able to desire to maintain them as info. call up the credit card company and tell them the priority. tell them you basically spent forty.forty 5. 10 money one transaction for gasoline and then 30.forty 5 for yet another gasoline transaction on an identical day. tell them the gasoline station worker advised you that "this mixture up has been occurring plenty presently". i might call your credit card company at present and then the next day call the save supervisor and ***** which you have been charged way too plenty. tell him what you fairly spent and in case you have the receipts tell the credit card company AND the administrative. save a replica of the receipts. do no longer turn over the unique receipts to the administrative (he might lose them and then he can declare you will possibly be able to desire to have fairly offered a hundred and fifty money fairly worth of gasoline).
