Did you hear the latest information coming from women's organizations about the number one reason for many teen pregnancies?
It is older men. Yes, they seek you out and have only one thing in mind. I have seen this happening over the years and it is very disturbing.
Understand that keeping within your own age group is important for many reasons, and this is just one more. These guys are real sleeze-bags, they know how to sweet talk you and treat you nice until they get what they want...a sweet little girl in their clutches.
Be careful and be aware. Respect yourself and protect yourself.

Little Scared--your mother is so wrong and so are you thinking it's ok for a 16 year old to date someone 20, you have missed my questions main point here.
Any guy who is 20 and normal would not want to date a 16 year old.

Roshea-but you did prove my point, that pregnancy is a result of these relationships. If he was so wonderful, being older, why didn't he use protection to protect you from getting pregnant? Why did he go along with you sneaking around behind your parents backs? Seems to me that he fits the bill here. Sorry he passed away, but your case with a happy ending in a relationship is very rare.

Agreed. if they are trying to sleep with u ditch them. if someone really cares about you they will wait until your ready.

I disagree with this....
I was 16 when I fell in love with Mark. He was 22 and yes my family wasn't happy at all but I snuck out to see him! I got pregnant at 17,had my baby when I was 18.(1994) Did he run...no he didn't he was a wonderful father. I graduated with his help the year I was supposed to(1995)! In 2001 we had our second child. Yes we spaced them apart due to health reasons on my end!! Unfortunately he passed away in 2003 he was only 32! We where together for 10 1/2 yrs.. If he was still alive I believe we would still be together today!!! So you see not all older men are sleeze-bags,there are some sweet ones out there! I happen to be lucky. I agree to some point there are men out there that think of one thing no matter the age!!!

well most girls dont know their age groups.. like me im 16 and my mom says i can date a 26 yr old just because her and my dad are ten years apart. It doesnt mean im going to go and do it. But i think i should be able to go and date 19 year olds or 20. thats not to old but thats just what i think

thats good advice and I agree with you, but it's not toally accurate. I'm not in school anymore, but I noticed this when I was: younger guys pressure girls to have sex as well...my BFF's younger sister is 13 and she is haveing sex with a 13 year old guy!!! its horrible, but theres nothing we can do!!

first thing is jamie spears and her sister are ******* sluts, second my daughter only have sex with girls only, thank god for all girls schools, I am very proud of my daughter for having sex with girls only
