Ok, maybe not THAT stupid a question!
My cat was spayed & during the operation the vet could only find one ovary & fallopian tube. The cat later went into heat & had to get spayed again. I'm not sure if the uterus was also removed but if not, she could have gotten pregnant after the first surgery.
Males, after being neutered may still have some "juice in the pipes" & can still impregnate shortly after. If you know a man who has had a vasectomy (not the same procedure, mind you), they say use another method of birth control for several weeks after. When having my llamas castrated, the vet said it takes a few weeks to become completely sterile.

No - get the cat back to the vet and explain the situation - when they do a proper spay ovaries AND uterus are removed. So even if the other ovary is active now (causing the heat cycles) there is no uterus to develop kittens. HOWEVER, this cat has to be respayed immediately (its a false pregnancy).

No males are neutered, which mean the testicles have been removed and females are spayed which is like a woman having a complete hysterectomy.

If by steralized you mean spayed then no. When they are spayed the uterus and ovaries are removed, so it is impossible for them to get pregnant.

no, the vet takes out the uterus and ovaries so there is no way that she can possibly get pregnant.

why do you think it was "sterilized" ?
you shouldn't have a cat.

Not if the vet did their job right, because they take everything out.

shouldn't be able too. Uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes are all GONE.. should be no way for it to become pregnant..
