Nothing different, because every Christmas is very special, and it is not about me, but about our Lord Jesus Christ.

I wouldn't wait for the last moment of my life to make any Christmas or day special with my love one. It should be special every day.
This remind me of a book I read about a woman who was dying. Someone asked her: "How does it feel knowing when you are going to die!" She answered:" How does it feeling denying that you are dying!"
We all are dying someone of us sooner than others, but we all are heading to that next chapter of our life. Make every day great/ No one knows when it will be our last breath that we take.

Peace Be With You and Yours
Merry Christmas

Edit,
I thought about your question again and thought for the sake of Christmas. I will make sure my 'last will' is up to date, and all my stuff will be divided equally according to my wish, so as when I am gone! none of my family members will fight over meaningless stuff.

I don't think I would do anything different. My grandfather always said that if you keep short accounts with people, you'll make a lot fewer trips to the cemetary afterward. By that, he meant "Treat people better while they're alive so that you'll have fewer regrets when they're gone." Don't wait to apologize if you've done something to hurt someone, and remember to tell the people that you love how much they mean to you. I've tried to follow his advice and keep my accounts with friends and family as short as possible.

So I would spend that last Christmas doing what I always do. I love to play "Sneaky Santa" and do something unexpected for a total stranger, so I'd have fun with that. I'd enjoy the memories associated with my favorite Christmas ornaments as I decorated the tree.

I'd try to find the perfect gift for the people on my list. I'd be enjoying the sounds smells, and sights of Christmas -- the Salvation Army bell ringers the smell of sugar cookies in the oven, the lights at night. Just the usual Christmas stuff. . .all the things that are so ordinary and yet so precious.

God bless, and have a wonderful Christmas! ((((Debra M))))

i'm a Christian and that i do no longer rejoice Christmas. WHY? through fact the social gathering of Christmas isn't based on the Bible? in fact, the recent Catholic Encyclopedia recognizes: “The date of Christ’s start isn't nicely-known. You know that is what happened last year with my Dad. We all went to Mom and Dad's house for christmas, had a big dinner and opened presents. We hung around and enjoyed each others company. Dad won't be here in the physical anymore but I know he will be watching us. I was hoping for one more christmas with him but the cancer wore him down and he decided to go on. It is hard knowing we won't have to hear him saying I want a Yacht for christmas.

1) Listen attentively to the stories I heard last year and the year before and so on.
2) Make sure meal prep was basically done before everyone was there so I could spend time with them.
3) Hug everyone hello and goodbye
4) No tv or movies, light music to encourage conversation
5) Make sure genuine thanks were heard from me to others for whatever.
6) Play with my kids and their toys. :P
7) Say I love you
8) No limit on dessert (for the kids ;)

Instead of buying presents, I would take the entire family on a really cool vacation. One that would be remembered for the rest of their lives.

Last year we all sat in a circle in the living room and took turns telling what we were thankful for and acknowledging all of our blessings in the past year. It was great!

If i were preparing to celebrate my last Christmas with my "family", it would also be preparing to celebrate my first Christmas with my "family". So I don;t know what I would do.

Amen. I wish I had known in 1989 that it would be my last Christmas with my twin.
