depends how big the piece you are cutting it from

if its 1" square then lots
if its a big piece then half a slice

strange question

I just put one slice of Kraft American singles on my scale. One slice is .65 oz. So 1 oz. would be about 1 1/3 slices.

Too many, no matter what. That stuff is disgusting. Buy some real cheese, there are plenty choose from.
