If you have a believe that there isn't a God thats still a faith that there is no God and you worship yourself or humanity isn't that also a religion? So in a sense isn't that like anarchy which is seperation from a governmental system only with God which is the ultimate system of law?

because the lack of belief in religion STILL has to do with religion, we're here to give balance to the believers' side of the equation, not necessarily to try to get you to abandon your religion, but to emphasize various points and discrepancies of your doctrines and give alternate perspectives of your teachings, I apologize if it offends you personally, but you'll find many Atheists are actually quite knowledgeable on the subjects discussed.

Huh? I'm sorry, you're making absolutely no sense whatsoever.
As an agnostic, I don't worship anything, although it's tempting to quote the George Carlin bit about worshipping the sun, but not praying to it because he wouldn't want to presume upon their friendship.
An agnostic, by the way, is someone who doesn't believe it is possible to prove or disprove the existence of a higher power.

Scientifically informed certainty is far different from the blind faith required to be a theist of any kind. I worship nothing. And since there is no God, God could not be the ultimate anything.

I sometimes also go in the Cat section, but I'm not a cat. I even go in the science section, but I'm not a science major. What's your point?
This is a section to discuss different religions. You do not have to be religious.
It is not the religious and person's who are spiritual section.
Get it? We can't help the "ism", it belongs to word "theism".. "atheism," means opposite of "theism".

Lot's of words end in ism and aren't a religion. Is Christianity not a religion it doesn't end with ism? We are here for entertainment and to try to help people understand us more. I don't worship anything.

There are religions that don't in fact have a central Godhead or any god at all. These people are by definition atheists, but still practice a religion.

Spell it with me: A-T-H-E-I-S-M.
1. I worship NO ONE. There's no need, it would be narcissistic- to say the least- to worship myself. (Did that make any sense while you were typing?)
2. Anarchy? Honey... I don't go running around eating babies, nor do other atheists... hence why the prison population of atheists is LESS than %0.5. Hmmm. Ultimate system of law, my *ss.... last I checked I didn't need a book to explain sympathy and empathy to me. If it hurts me, it hurts someone else; therefore I refrain from doing it. DUH. (Do you think out what you write?)
3. No matter how you slice it, the abcense of a religion, still has the word religion in it. Besides, who would refute your petty little lies about us, then?
4. DRINK- Use the searchbar... this question get asked about 60 times a day. You're not smart, and you're certainly not original.

There are older and better systems of law than what your "god" came up with. I won't be living by his rules no matter how good you think it is.
isn't it ironic that you knew it had an "ism" at the end?
Religion concerns me. Here I am. Go kick the people out of the royalty section.

I don't believe that there is a God. It's a subtle, but important, distinction.
Most of the time, all I do is answer questions about atheists or questions directed to atheists. If those questions went away, I probably would, too.
