I have a boyfriend now, and I have been with him for 3 months. I'm at his house a lot, not more than at my own house.. but my family pokes fun at me and tells me they are my inlaws and I dont spend enough time with my own family. What should I do?

Invite your boyfriend over to your house to spend some time with your family, this would really mean a lot to your parents.

Although your family says this in a joking way, I feel there is some sincerity to it. On some level, they must feel that you are spending too much time with him and must miss you.

When we are first in a relationship, we can't get enough of that person and we usually really neglect our family and friends. This happens to everyone but after a few weeks, it is time to start trying to incorporate your new love in with family and friends and to make the time sharing more even.

I suggest that you take turns going to his house one time, then him coming to your house the next time. Go out by yourselves one time and then the next time go out with friends.

It is all about balancing.
