Humans can invest a lot of effort and get big muscles. (But still be killed in a fight)
They can invest a lot of time in learning and become proficient at a trade or profession. (But still fail or be laid off)
They can use the above to discover new technology. (But still not be happy)
And use that technology. (But still be blown up by an opposing country)
Beyond all that we have the powers that God allows us through his Grace.
