Personaly I don't think it matters if he done it on purpose or not. It is Christmas time.

What is the big deal with mentioning Jesus Christ or Christmas? Do politicians not celibrate holidays?

I absolutely love it. What I want exactly, is a president who realizes what a lie the separation of church and state is and has the knowledge and courage to challenge it and possibly even eradicate it. Our founding fathers never intended for Christianity to be criminalized in this country as it has been in these last few decades. I'm very tired of it and sick to death of everyone cowing down to a statute that doesn't even truly exist. If everyone knew the truth and every town in America erected their nativity scene (as our town has, and is in a battle with the ACLU over it)and posted their Ten Commandments like Judge Roy Moore did, the ACLU and the likes would be powerless to take on such a huge battle. It's time we stand up and put a stop to this foolishness, once and for all! GO Huckbee!!

I liked both. I also think Huckabee is the only one with the guts to stand up to the lunacy that we now live in. does he have a chance? I don't know, but as it stands right now, there is no other person running who I could vote for and then still stand before God and give an account for. I know the others are far off base.

If we were to go to Saudi Arabia and speak against Muhammad, it is a crime unto death. But America opens its gates for them to come to our land and do what??? Speak against the God this nation was founded upon, the God of Israel, Isaac, and Jacob with zero punishment, repercussions. There is nothing wrong with saying the name of Jesus or Merry Christmas, but there lies a evil that is raising its ugly head while the majority of Americans look blindly on and do nothing but invite the enemy in............only to be terrorized and killed by it. President Ronald Reagan said, "If we ever forget that we are one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under." I am so thankful that I am the Lord's because America will fall hard, but God's children will stand. Merry Christmas!

Do you really think we are going to make it to another election? If we do the diebold machines will pick the predetermined winner, since the Chad is non existent.
Jeremiah 10 is in order to reproof. I do not wish to sound mean but the states better wake up!

Other than the mention of politics, it is the message of any pastor at this time of year.

Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Yes, I always thought that a bookshelf was a religious image.
And you are right even if he did it on purpose, so what?
He has made his faith an open book anyway.

Btw, if it wasn't for our ultra-left news media no one would heard the story to begin with. But, then it was a slow day for news, wasn't it?

I think it's fine. I'm not a believer myself, but I'd much rather have a politician being open and honest about who they are. Remember George Bush's "compassionate conservative" fraud? How about Mitt Romney's "social liberal (pro-choice!?!)-fiscal conservative" charade?

I'd never vote for Huckabee. But I respect his willingness to not have me vote for him by not lying to me about what I'm getting.

He has the right to say and do whatever pleases him as part of his campaign. Personally, I think it's just fine. But if others don't, they can let him know when they vote.

I think it comes down to motive. If he's celebrating the birth of Christ - fine. If he's pandering to the Religious Right for votes - wrong.

I would find it offensive to try and use God for votes.........
