Over the past several years, I have heard repeatedly that the bachelor's degree has become the old high school diploma, which has been the standard minimum of education acceptable by many employers. Vocational training is a viable option in many fields, though, and will train you specifically to perform technical jobs without all of the English, history, math, etc. Most vocational programs take anywhere from six months to eighteen months to complete, and an associates degree usually takes two years to finish. Whatever you decide, I hope that you find your niche in life and work that you love.

Some people let life "happen" to them. The most successful people in the world make life happen. You don't need a piece of paper to be successful, but you do need character, determination, hard work, and creativity. Being intelligent is more important than being "educated". I do not have a college education and I make more than 200K per year, have a happy family and plan to take strides to expand my personal business. Just be smart.

You will have less options and opportunities and will face greater competition. However, not everyone is cut out for college. It has become incredibly expensive so the return for the investment is questioned. What do you want to do? Is a degree required? What skills do you have?

Nothing. You're perfectly capable of having just as happy or unhappy, successful or unsuccessful life with or without a college degree. You choose the path of your life, not a piece of paper.

You will be just fine if you have good work ethic you will be fine. I have a 4 year degree in management and my boss hasn't stepped foot in a college. He was a ex journeymen electrician so they felt he had good leadership skills and he proved it and got promoted. Yes he is a good boss/leader too. So 4 year degrees don't mean **** in allot of cases.
