They only frequent this part of the internet to publicly display their ignorance by claiming anyone who believes differently than they do is ignorant...without having to do it in a manner that would bring them personal ridicule on the streets...

to offer a private answer, I, an Atheist, flow into this area simply by fact faith particularly is techniques boggling; no longer each and all of the time in a undesirable way, each and every from time to time its basically very exciting, incredibly with each and all of the different perspectives. From a psychological potential, while somebody is put in a place that their ideals are challenged, that project can the two harm or advance the guy's ideals that have been being challenged; of path it is not generally of a wakeful attempt on my area and probable maximum different Atheists, in spite of the shown fact that it comes as a effect. So if somebody is challenged they generally benefit a much greater suitable perception to their own ideals, so it in a fashion advantages them (and the guy no longer basic them).

Well, the bible says that the world will just get even worse the closer we get to the end. So many different religions try to destroy Christianity... Including Atheism.
GREAT GAZOO - "Nice try. But Satan ain't real either." ... The why do you lie? Why do you have sex outside of marriage? Why do you lust? ... Because Satan tempts you and you sin.

I will admit they are cocky. Trying to disway believers is just as bad as pushing your faith on others. Ignorance is bliss and they prove it with the lack of religious information outside of the bible. I will disagree with the statement they have the devil in them, etc. That is just a bunch of bull. Everyone should look for truth, and science is progression in the search. Religion can be tricky because it has no scientific method.

I can't speak for others but I'm certainly not looking for answers in terms of whether I need religion on a personal level. I am interested in the topic in an academic sense just like I'm interested in other mythologies.
Satan isn't a real entity, just a made-up bogeyman in a negative reinforcement scheme to keep christians toeing the line.

We are not looking for answers...
And about Satan - he isn't real, but if so and he wanted me to destroy christianity, i'd be all for it. If I had to chose a side, Satan sounds like more fun than Jesus!

Fallacy: assuming facts not in evidence.
Fallacy: No evidence Satan exists.
Fallacy: No evidence that even if Satan exists, that he can exert control over anyone.
Fallacy: Assuming Satan exists and can exert control over others, no evidence that he exerts control over atheists.
Fallacy: Assuming Satan exists, can exert control over atheists, no evidence he exerts his control over atheists so they would destroy Christianity. Without an enemy, what would Satan do next?
I come looking for questions.

The answers we're looking for tend to be why do believers of all stripes believe, and why do Christians, primarily, want to impose their beliefs on others. To date, no reasonable answers have been forthcoming, so we keep trying.
As to your second question, of course not, as Satan is as imaginary as God or Christ.

Yes. That's it. You've cracked it. How very, very right you are. We don't believe in something which doesn't exist, because we are under the control of something else which doesn't exist, so we come here to play our part in this everlasting war between non existing entities.
