Please share your source if you would about these two requests:
>>An inspriational saying for when you are on top
>>An inspirational saying for when you are feeling low
Please be sincere, over time, others will read and be uplifted by your choices. Not just we who participate now.
I have one from the book Galilee by Christopher Pike: It takes a strong will to live the higher life.
This inspired me when I read it and to know that this author shared it with the readers, really lifted me up.
And then from KJV Bible Matthew 5:14 & 16 Ye are the light of the world...Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
We are all a source of inspiration to one another, regardless of our 'beliefs'.
Thanks and blessings :)

when on top:
We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures. --Thornton Wilder
when feeling low:
I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much.
Mother Teresa

great question, my first star.
there are so many inspirational sentences.
"this too shall pass" (good to use when you're up and when you're down).
"every piece of meat is the best one" (our minds like to separate and grade everything. In truth everything is god.)
those two above are from sufi tales.
"infinite love is the only truth and reality, everything else is illusion" (source : david icke)
let's reverse your question now, and debunk some usual anti-wisdom sentences which take us down.
"who do you think you are?"
"i cant, i dont know, it's not possible, it's too hard, i wish i could but..."
"i'm dumb, i'm ugly" etc.
"i should, i have to, i cant but do, i'm afraid" etc
i like also the "dont be either too good nor too evil"
(lobsang rampa)
sentences and axioms can be good, but observing what is here and now is the core practice.

This is my current mantra, it reminds me of my course, be it up or down.
Happiness is not the destination…It is the path
-Tao Te Ching
Another favorite that keeps me grounded is:
In oneself lies the whole world and if you know how to look and learn, the door is there and the key is in your hand. Nobody on earth can give you either the key or the door to open, except yourself.
-Jiddu Krishnamurti

I use the NAS translation.
You brood of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak what is good? For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart. The good man brings out of his good treasure what is good; and the evil man brings out of his evil treasure what is evil. But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned. Matt.12:34-37

here's my own little inspirational quote.....
'Like the fires of creation, the primordial maelstrom that gave rise to ourselves and everything around us, we are born of Chaos, and life is about the struggle to impose order to that Chaos.'

I usually just say "Oh Zeus!" when I'm on top.
Might not be what you were looking for, but if you have a sense of humor it had to make you smile. :P
