Useful idiot Ken Martin of the FCC just threw We The People under the bus in an effort to boost the profits for the biggest of the media. The move came "despite objections from consumer groups and a threat by some senators to revoke the action." http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/mediaownership_fcc_dc
How is this possible? How long are we going to let the government spit in our faces? Who is Ken Martin and who does he think he is?

This is a real danger, when any one industry gains a stranglehold on any sector of business.

The general public is the one to suffer, as there is less and less competition.

It is doubly worrisome when it is the media, as the opinions expressed, and the fair and accurate news reporting becomes less and less, and more of what a single minded industry wants us to hear.

Yep. Thanks for posting. It's not over yet though. We'll see if Congress can do anything about it. Call your Congressperson and ask them to oppose this...
