how to be unshyy:(?

I used to be very shy as well. I changed my shyness by making a deliberate choice.
During the transition between school and university I realized that my shyness had been holding me back to some degree and I decided that it would be better if I was a more friendly and outgoing person.
So ... I told myself that was my goal. I set myself a little task: I was going to go and meet one new person every day. I went to university and introduced myself to everyone I could meet. I tried to interact a bit more ...
Now this was many years ago.
After some weeks or months it became easier. So now, I work in an Emergency Department. I meet a dozen or so new people every day! I have a bit of a knack to build a quick rapport and talk easily with these people.
I still have that same shy guy inside, but now there are layers and masks. I have my work-mode which makes it easy for me to interact with people. Even when I go to a party or meet people going out, I use these skills.
While I am still a little shy inside, nobody can tell. I appear very unshy.

Get socialized, do it online if you too shy, good to start building your self confidence. Beside what's wrong being shy ? We live in the same earth, breath the same air.

well i have been in the same position as you before. what i did was just slowly "worked my way out of it. I 1st started with small things like talking to people i like and just worked my way up until i got to doing big stuff.....like doing prefomences and other thing like that.
also try standing out. do something new like asking out someone that you like.

uh. im shy too. but i think that u shouldn't be unshy. i think girls that are shy r interesting. =)
