i saw this artical in my local paper bout donating Kidneys and stuff,,
i just wanted to ask,,,what happens if u donate a kidney??!!
like,,do u die??or do u keep living normaly?or do u need to stay away from a few things?
im totaly confused!
plzz help moi!!

of course you don't die, silly girl, you have two kidneys, and can live quite easily with just one. You do need to drink more water to keep your remaining kidney healthy since it's the only one you have...but it's done all the time and both people, both the donor and the recipient, do fine.

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.

They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!

This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.

It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.
