a great hamburger
This is a basic but great hamburger with the bacon and onion right inside the patty. You can also add cheese to the filling or top it off with a nice slice.
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 pounds ground round
1/2 cup cooked and minced bacon
1/2 cup bar-b-que sauce (your favorite flavor)
1 small minced onion or 2 tablespoons of dried minced onion
Any of your favorite toppings for hamburger
PREPARATION:
Mix ingredients together. Shape into patties and grill over prepared grill until done. Top with steak sauce such as A1 or Heinz or just plain ketchup and mustard will do. Served well with baked beans and steak fries.

These are the most amazing burgers I have ever had, my boyfriend begs me to make them, My mom always made homemade burgers and I tried to mimic it one day but I didn't know what she put in it so through trial and error I came up with this, sorry the measurements aren't exact but the recipe turns out amazing: 2 lbs of ground beef (I use 80/20 because it has just enough fat for the grill and leaves a great flavor) 1 handful of breadcrumbs 1 egg (whipped with a fork) salt and pepper garlic powder a couple shakes of dried oregano thyme paprika a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce a few dashes of ketchup form into little patties and BBQ or cook on the stovetop on Med/high heat for 3 minute per side, continue flipping until it reaches the temperature you desire. Top with cheese and put on a toasted ciabatta bun with lettuce and grilled onions, ketchup or mustard if desired, Good Luck and Happy Feasting!!! -Little Chef

Cola Burgers
Ingredients-
1 egg
1/2 cup cola-flavored carbonated beverage, divided
1/2 cup crushed saltine crackers
6 tablespoons French salad dressing, divided
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
Preparation-
Preheat a grill for high heat. When the grill is hot, lightly oil the grate.
In a medium bowl, mix together the egg, 1/4 cup of cola, crackers, 2 tablespoons of French dressing, and Parmesan cheese. Crumble in the ground beef, and mix well. Form into 6 balls, and pat into 3/4 inch patties. Pour the remaining cola and dressing into a small bowl, and mix well.
Grill burgers for about 3 minutes per side. Brush with the dressing and cola, then grill for 8 to 10 more minutes, basting occasionally.

Buy lean steak mince.
Finely chop up red onion, garlic and a little green pepper.
mix in the white of an egg and all the above and then make burger pattie shapes.
Fry or grill as desired, leaving the middle slightly pink.
Serve on a freshly baked bun with your choice of cheese, red onion, tomato, gerkin, ketchup and mayonnaise.
Enjoy!

Buy good quality ground beef that is about the 85/15 blend ( you need a little fat to keep the burgers moist). Pat out 1/2 or thicker patties, then lightly sprinkle with Montreal Steatk seasoning on both sides. Cook over medium/hot coals til desired doneness ( In a pinch, you can cook on a George Foreman, but NEVER fry them in a skillet). Serve with your favorite toppings & a nice side like potato salad or baked beans.......Yummy!

You can make these with any kind of meat. Try uncooked pork mince (1/2 lb) for instance, put into a blender with 1 onion, any kind of herbs that you like, salt pepper, 1 egg and a handful of breadcrumbs, blend together. Then form with the hands into balls, and flatten out on a floured board. Then fry both sides until cooked. Enjoy!
