I have read the entire Bible 5-6 times in my life.
It takes a year to do so, sometimes longer than that, depending on how much you read daily.

I've read it 7 or 8 times, not counting verses/chapters read in services, bible studies or while memorizing sections.

I have, admittedly skipping a lot of the 'begats'.

Similar to how you'd read Tolkien but skip the poetry/songs.

Unfortunately, I've read the entire thing twice. That's valuable time I could have spent drinking, that I'll never have back.
