Use an old reel of 35mm film. Unroll it and then roll it up together with a piece of dry newspaper to fit with a tail on either end. Light it and it will ignite but because it is compressed in a spiral there is insufficient air for it to actually flame. It will however smoke a great deal. I used to do these when I was 11 years old which was about 58 years ago.
I got caught letting the smoke through a letter box and was given 10 with my Dad's belt on the back side. Never ever did it again. Be careful what you do with it.
Happy Christmas.

i would be carefull about looking up the anarchists cookbook, or the jolly rogers cookbook. both are watched by counter terrorist organisations,

i've read both when i was younger - they have loads of fun stuff in, such as smoke bombs, but also have some REALLY dangerous stuff in which is why the government is interested in who reads it.

Read of of these people's fine answers.

And then google "Anarchist's Cookbook" for even more knowledge.

Try to find an up to date version.
