I was shopping at Target yesterday.
They have the answer to your problem for $5.
In the men's department there is a Christmas Gift display of $5 & $10 items. There, among other things is a key chain that both sends out a light and a sound when it hears you whistle!
Another tip - get yourself a 2nd "emergency" set to keep in a specific spot.
It's winter - go through all your pockets.

Taking Ginkyo Biloba will help to sharpen your mind.
Always keep your keys, mobile phone etc. in a particular place all the time so that you know where they will be.
Make sure the house is tidy and buy storage boxes to keep things in - Ikea have a good range of large and small boxes.

I do the same. Backtrack to when you recall having them last and I mean PHYSICALLY walk around and do whatever you were doing in the house and check coat pockets in case they are in there, then start looking down the back of the sofa. For future times like this, get a spare set of keys and keep them in your fridge, so you know where to find them with ease.

You need to buy one of those key rings that will beep at you when you clap your hands so you can find it when you misplace it. From now on put a basket in one place and put your keys in there each and every time since it sounds like you don't put you keys back in your purse every time.

You should get something to put on your keychain that beeps when you press another remote or something like that.
Or always leave your keys on a peg by the door, get into a habit of doing it.
Don't get too frustrated, it happens to all of us.
