You're the kind of the girl who has high aims, and will work hard to get a bright future - good pay.
Your boyfriend, however, argues, it's cool to be earning a minimum income as long as you have money to eat.
I mean it is very frustrating for me to have a boyfriend with that kind of mentality, and all of his friends are school drop outs who see no need in progressing with their studies. And he doesn't mind that at all.
Is it just me or do you think I do need to find a guy on my level or am I just being unreasonable?

There is nothing "wrong" with his attitude. He is obviously not a material person and does not care about what people think of him based on job and wealth status. I think our society has caused us all to think we need to be material and greedy. We think we need to all be CEO's and make six figures to be successful at life. Really if we have someone we love with all of our heart and we are happy doing what we do to make the world better then that is success to me.
That being said, if he has this attitude simply because he is lazy and just doesn't want to do anything to improve himself or others, then I would say thats a problem. Its really up to you, if you don't feel that you can be with a man that doesn't have goals that match your own then you should not be together. If you can accept him for who he is and what he wants and still live the way you want with him, then stay together and be happy!

If i think different people think differently.
Some mind think if you really loves your boyfriend, you should love his pros and cons.
But seriously, if i am you, i will have the same thinking.
You have great potential to have a better life then him.
Why do you have to be drag down by him.
And you are still young, there will be lot and lots of wonderful guys who share the same goal as you.
But sometimes, listen to your heart..
What do you think.
If you really really like him and willingly to accept for what he thinks.
Then so be it.

some of us just don't see waisting our lives trying to earn material things... we want to have fun and enjoy our lives.... i am that way too.... I make enough to get my bills paid and have a pretty decent life!!!! money isn't everything!!! and if you find yourself thinking that it does then yes you need to find someone on your level

You obviously can't live with someone making minimum wage who is happy with his status in life. So yes, you need to find someone with similar goals to you.

I THINK U NEED TO FIND A GUY ON YOUR LEVEL.. CUZ ME PERSONALLY I WOULDNT WANT A GUY LIKE THAT.. I WOULDNT WANT TO HAVE TO WORK MY *** OFF AND HAVE HIM JUST THINKING THE WAY HE DOES.. IF I THINK THAT WAY I FEEL LIKE MY GUY SHOULD ALSO OR AT LEAST BE HEADED IN THE SAME DIFFERENT AS I.

get rid of the guy, hes a waste of space, if you dont contribute anything worthwhile to society, you are useless in my eyes. He will onyl hinder your progress.
