First you will need a copy of XP. Next, enter the bios and set the boot sequence so that the cd drive boots before the hard drive. Now put your XP cd into the drive and install XP. This will wipe out the drive, so if you ever want to go back to Vista, you will need the restore disks that came with your system. Or if the "Restore" is on a partition on your hard drive, you should burn this restore data to a DVD or CDs.

Before you install XP, make sure that you have all of the drivers for your system.
