Heartspaige: Why? Because he might want to be God and rule the world (Lucifer's goal as you said).

Satan deceived Eve in the Garden. Satan was cast out of Heaven because he wanted to be God. He was unpure and he was cast out. His goal now is to get as many people following him as he can. God sent Jesus to be the great sacrifice to save us from what Satan caused that day in the garden. Jesus is the only way to get into Heaven and he was the only perfect human to walk the planet. He would not deceive nor lie. Why would someone come and die for you just to trick you. Why would they go through all of that torment to save your life if they were really out to ruin it? They wouldn't......God and His Son are LOVE! and love doesn't lie or mislead!

I just assumed that's all part of God's plan. After all, he is all knowing and we aren't to question his motives, but hey, if he is omniscient, then he knew in advance what Satan would do before he even created Satan, so it only makes sense that God intended Satan to deceive Adam and Eve.

Because Jesus only ever preached kindness, love, and patience. There's nothing Jesus ever said that wouldn't make you a better person, even if you aren't a christian and still he died for it.

If all of that was a lie, it would be a horrible reason to die.

Because Jesus doesn't tell me to do something against God's will...as shown in the Bible...

And satan didn't "deceive" Adam and Eve...he tempted Eve with the promise of God's knowledge...and Eve convinced Adam that nothing bad would happen to him since she did not die when she ate the fruit...

Nope. Genesis said the serpent was the "most cunning of the beasts" and that God punished it for its role in the fall of man by making it slither on its belly. Satan wasn't part of their mythology yet.

GOD gave man free will to do what he want's to do GOD does not force us to serve Him asks us to serve HIM GOD will not decieve us to do something like satan will and then force us to keep doing it to feel good like if you take drugs you will feel like you are on top of the world one min and then after you stop takeing it you just have to take more and more to get that feeling, but with GOD you will feel that way 24/7 365.

By God's Word and the Holy Spirit, I know. Satan tempted Eve and Adam joined Eve in committing sin.

There is a place where there is no God in eternity. Many have spoke about their near death experiences and witnessed these places. It's called eternal damnation because God is no longer present. The only thing that can save you from that place is Jesus.

yes satan did deceive them... look in genesis, it says satan took the form of a snake and deceived eve and adam being a stupid man as we all are actually listened to eve and was deceived also

Wrong. Paul said it was eve who was deceived, not adam. Meanwhile, god stood by and let it happen. He should have tossed eve and started over again.
