You had a girlfriend who was pretty and everything looks wise, a model but wasnt all that in personality (and you had lots of arguments with and didnt get on very well with) but also liked another girl who you know likes you which has a great personality and not all that in body and looks, what would you do?? Ill trade the good looking one with the not so good looking one,cause the good looks is just for display and it will go away when they aged ,while the great personality is something that you can treasure forever and can live at peace with,for me its not even a choice to make,its a must to pick,especially if your thinking about settling down,whats the use of having a good looking companion when he/she is a nighmare to be with?whereas if your companion is just average looking but good in the house and has a great personality for me she is a handsdown winner of my heart and all

OK lady, this is my thought on your question. Yes, it would ideal to have a woman have the looks of a model, but if her personality sink (constancy auguring and not getting along). I will drop her like a bag of rotten potatoes and eggs and be more happy with a woman who have a lovely personality and average looks. If relationship are base upon looks alone, what will happen to the relationship when the person start to age? Will you look for another pretty face?

Hmm.. to be honest.. looks arent everything.. believe me when you are with a person who is gorgeous and all you do is argue.. in my mind they become ugly... but if I was with a person who is ordinarily looking, pretty but not HOT and they had a great personality and a good heart I think I would be content... but I have to admit that there has to be an attraction!

I think its fairly unanimous. I like that answer about fooling around with the hot girl first. I'd like that, but ultimately I wanna end up with the girl with the great personality.

in all honesty, I would probably fool around with the hot one i didn't like for a few weeks, but i'd quickly get fed up with her and go for the girl I actually like.
Looks may help initiate a relationship, but its the personality that keeps it going, and if the personality isn't there, the relationship is doomed to fail.

Personaly, I dont go for the "model" type in the first place if she doesnt have any brains. I would break up with her an go for the other girl. If she wasnt fat an that ugly of course..

Depends on the looks. Personality is great and all, but it doesn't overcome an extra 300 lbs and a bad grill. I think my girlfriend is extremely sexy, but I'm not with her because of her looks. I'm with her because she's intelligent, makes me laugh, and she doesn't let me get away with bullsh*t. Bot if she ever got over 200 lbs, I would disappear like a pack of smokes at an AA meeting.

I can tell you id get pretty tired of the hot girl pretty fast. My interest in nice girl would probably have to grow more slowly though since its based not on looks but on her depth of personality.

although i hold high esteem for looks, the lack of personality makes them nothing more than a vessel. In the long run, personality is better than looks, but if you cna find both.. ide go for that.
