I've never studied alot in origin of life subject because I believe BIBLE holds answer to every question. but since you believe evolution can you give answer to simple question?

If we came from monkeys then why are there still monkeys??? And why is there no transitional fossil between a monkey and a man?

You've been around here long enough to know better than this, kid.

The bottom line is that in asking those questions, you're simply demonstrating that you're either unwilling to understand evolution, unable to understand evolution, or most likely, both.

That's the correct answer, though I imagine you'll frantically deny it.

First off, it is hard to take your question seriously due to the poor use of grammar. Secondly, You should view the link I have attached to my answer for more information on this subject because you clearly do not understand evolution.

A split in the chimpanzees molecular structure is what began the process to human evolution. Some of the animals changed and some did not. It was a multistep process to go from being a chimp to a human. This process did not cause all Chimps to become humans beacuse like I said there was a split in their molecular structure.

There are many fossils that have been found that show the transition from chimps to Homo sapiens. Take a look at this link: http://www.theistic-evolution.com/transitional.html
Where did you hear that there are no transitional fossils? You wanted proof, so read the links I have suggested.

I am not knocking your BIBLE, so don't knock science until you have studied that and have a true understanding of it and can then make bold statements like you have.

Oh, dear.

Well, here goes again.

First of all, Mahal, evolution does not have anything to do with the origin of life. It explains the diversity of species on earth.

This monkey thing is a very common misconception about how evolution works.

No one says we evolved from monkeys, but that we had a common ancestor. Monkeys are like our very distant cousins. Your cousin doesn't cease to exist just because you are here, does he?

Look at your family tree. Evolution works in exactly the same way. If you go far enough back, you are related to people you would never guess. (Barak Obama nad Dick Cheney are very distant cousins, as are George W. Bush and John Kerry.) If you go back millennia, the we share a common ancestor with apes. You're right: you are not a monkey any more than George W. Bush is Barak Obama. Or any more than I am you.

If you have any specific questions, I would be happy to address them to the best of my ability.

Right now there is a body of a female called "lucy" touring the US. Some believe she is a missing link...
However, we did not come from monkeys, or apes, or anything like that. We have a common genetic ansestor and you cannot doubt that fact as we have 98% genes in common with chips.
If you believe the bible, then where did Cain get his wife and where was the land of Nod (where he came to know his wife) if the garden of eden was all there was to begin with....
Oh, and we KNOW for a FACT there were cavemen when dinosaurs romed the earth, So if Adam named all the creatures on the earth, don't you think if there was a Dinosaur walking around, there would be some mention of this creature in the Bible?
You can believe in the Bible and know the science of how the planet works.

I'm not an "evolutionist" but you're waaay off on your assumptions...don't get out much do you???

Besides the fact that this very same question has been addressed ad nauseum here and elsewhere...take a look at the fossil record of early hominids and those of early homo sapiens...there are many similarities and differences that point to a genetic link between apes and humans...the only question yet to be answered is how far back can you go before human is no longer human???

We did not evolve from monkeys. Monkeys and apes, including humans, evolved from a common ancestor.

There are vast numbers of transitional fossils:
Carpolestes simpsonsoi
Victoriapithecus maccinnisi
Pierolapithecus catalaunicus

This list is not complete by a long shot. These are just key fossils.

I really need my coffee now.

A debate between the Bible and evolutionists is futile. If they don't believe the Bible as coming from God, then you have no basis for your argument. Sure, common sense says that something can't come from nothing or that a single cell organism can't turn into something else without DNA telling it to, but evolutionists have never really like the common sense thing. They are the ones who woke up and smelt breakfast and ate it, never once thinking that there mom had prepared it. By chance they had clothes in their drawers and over a very, very long period of time the clothes even folded themselves and neatly placed themselves in their respective locations. Later on that day the clothes will clean themselves and maybe even change sizes as needed. It could happen. I don't base my life upon theory or what people think might could maybe perhaps be if given enough time and everything else was perfect. Sound like I am rambling--I am! Common sense has no place is evolutionary science.

so, you admit ignorance of the subject while you accuse everyone else of being ignorant in your other questions. that's nice. read a biology textbook.

we aren't descended from monkeys, that's a fallacy of ignorant people. there are a lot of gaps in the fossil record, but not so many that the pattern is not evident. if you want an answer about paleobiology, then go to the science section.

but you won't, becaue they will mock you worse than you've ever mocked an atheist, and they will have legitimate proof to back up their mockery instead of a book of mythology.

If you read more then you'll realize that there were several different hominid species living at the same time. You'll also learn that were existed for more than 200,000 years which is about 194,000 years longer than the Bible states. Also, this is the same question that gets asked about every month by someone else thinking that they have some great point that will stump Atheists. My suggestion is for you to read other books than the Bible since it's obviously geared toward promoting Christianity and would, therefore, be a biased source.

We did not come from monkeys no monkey ever evolved into a man. We had a common ancestor and considering the conditions need to make fossils I believe we have an amazing amount of them.

We share common ancestors with monkeys. That doesn't
mean that we EVOLVED the same. Different species evolve differently over time to best adapt to their particular enviornment. Monkeys continued to live in trees and evolved so they are best suited to that. Man left the trees, became nomadic and evolved to fit that lifestyle.
As for a transitional fossil, You've apparently never been to a museum.
