how can u say ur not worried about ur weight when you say 'ugh i put on two pounds' ? its good for you to stay away from junk like that, and i must say you have great self control. However, at your age skinny is not nice and not sexy, on the other hand nor is fat. You can afford to indulge a little once in a while...! And its normal, actually a little good for you once in a little while!

You can't be worried about every single calorie you consume.
It's healthy to measure your caloric intake, but at 14 years old and 5'3 and 106? You're VERY healthy.
It's not going to kill you every once in a while to have a sweet treat. In fact, it's actually healthy!
I'm going to advise you to NOT obsess over your weight. You're just getting started on a whole journey of body changes. Your body size and weight will increase and decrease over the next 6-7 years. I promise, 106 is a fantastic weight at your age/height now.
Do not starve yourself, and don't be so hard on yourself.
If you're not an avid soda drinker or a chocoholic, you're okay.
You sound like you've got a healthy lifestyle now as far as food.
It's okay to indulge a little.
If you continue having these serious concerns about eating a few cookies every now and then, you may need to talk to somebody. Don't let yourself fall into an eating disorder - they're mental disorders, not just physical. Thinking like that will get you into a mindset that you're fat, and you'll start to obsess with weight loss, which can become unhealthy.
Good luck!

DON'T WORRY!
The important thing is to eat healthy most of the time! If you ate a ton of sweets every day, then it would be a bad thing - but since you typically eat healthy, just enjoy a treat from time to time. It will make you savour it more!
Just keep up the great work - it is nice to see a teenager who eats healthy. Just don't fall victim to the self image issues that the media tries to put on women - if you eat healthy and stay active (most of the time) - you should stay around a normal body weight.

Ok, just stop thinking about it. Seriously. If you're saying "ugh" because you weigh 107-108, that's a suggestion that you're obsessing a tad too much about your weight.
EVERYBODY eats more than they should on the holidays. It's part of having fun in life. So what if you put on a couple pounds by New Year's? Smile, remember the fun you've had, and resolve to exercise it off by March.

Don't worry about it. We all get to overindulge every now and then. What you need to stay away from is obsessing about food and body weight issues.... will come back to haunt you later on.
incidently, my youngest daughter is also 14, 5' 2" and weighs about 145. Is she fat? Nope. She's got the farmer's daughter physique and is extremely active.... and looks like she could break a petite thin girl in half.
My other daughter is 29 and 5' 7" and weighs about 110. She also is extremely active.
It's amazing how different our individual bodies can be.
Best of luck.

Sometimes you just go nuts (hormones, etc.). Don't beat yourself up as this can make it snowball. Workout a little longer or a few extra days this week and go on......just remember this feeling when the urge hits next time and it will help prevent it. Sometimes it can be a social thing also where others can pressure you into it. If so, get away from the conversation and/or guzzle about 30 oz. of water and that'll make you fill full immediately.

One day of binging won't change your long-term weight. It may make you feel bad for a day or two, but your body size reflects your long-term diet -- how much you eat over a week or a month -- and not one meal or one day's calories. Chill out. If you don't do that sort of thing regularly, you have nothing to worry about.
Also remember that body weights naturally fluctuate by 2 to 4 pounds. And because you're a woman, that fluctuation will not only be daily but monthly. Give yourself a break...you're fine.

It sounds like you are a normal weight for your age and take good care of your health and body. Try and not worry about eating the junk food...it's good to have treats now and then. You got through a long year of school, so you got the reward of the cookies and cupcakes and everything. Smile instead because it tasted so good. Keep on eating healthy and find ways to give yourself treats like this (it does not have to be food, it could be going to the mall or calling a friend you like talking to) and be good to yourself.

Dear Ms Krazy....
We generally feel guilty because we ARE guilty. We have the knowledge of right and wrong. We know what we should do and what we should not do. However, if your biggest guilt is eating a little too much during the holidays, you are not alone. Today is a new day. Make wise choices in food and in life.
Merry Christmas!

If you usually eat healthy, having extra snacks every once in a while is no biggie; Don't stress yourself out about it...one day of splurging will not undo 14 years of a healthy lifestyle.
