Not until someone proves that an intelligent designer exists. Ignorant people like to start with an answer and then develop a question that fits it.

The idea of an "intelligent designer" creates an impossible paradox. It requires an infinite number of "designers", each more powerful and complex than their creations, to make what we now call "God". In turn this would mean "God" is not all powerful, but only a watered down version of an infinite number of predecessors.

Tis the only thing that makes sense. Try doing anything yourself by doing nothing and see if it happens. Oh! You can't do nothing because you already take up space and everything. So imagine your lawnmower in 8 billion years turning itself into a peacock and eating sulfuric acid and then your neighbors lawnmower turns into a cockatoo and mates with your lawnmower and out comes an egg shaped like a toaster. I have never seen anything that just happened by itself--all can be explained--except something from nothing--that is completely rediculous--even if Al Gore thinks it is so.

For a long, long time men have said that God exists. Only here recently because of the influence of the evil one are men becoming more and more ungodly.

Daniel, your mother is correct and listen to her. Mommas know more than scientists ever thought about knowing. A good mother is hard to find and you've got a good one.
