i dont know abt the disadvantaged but can give my opinion
Its a really good moisturizing soap in winters specially u need to use less creams for dry skin if using it

It is a "moisturizing" soap, so it has oil in it. It is not a detergent like other soaps (Irish Spring, Zest, etc.). Homemade soaps are made of a combination of various oils and fats and lye. Most soap you buy in a store are detergents.
With that in mind, you can wash your face with it, but it is NOT a product to reduce acne. Only acne products can do that.
Dove is best for those with dry skin.

It is a very mild soap and good for acne because it won't irritate the skin. Use the sensitive skin type because it doesn't contain perfume or artificial colors. Check with your dermatologist.
