I got my braces about 2 months ago and it's just been these couple of weeks when the right side of my mouth (the two molars at the back and a few teeth at the front feel) really sensitive to cold. I can't even eat an orange on the right side of my mouth! Before it was the left side and now it's the right. I use Sensodyne mouthwash thing which was given by the dentist for the braces. What else shall I do?? Is it cos of my braces?

The Dentist has given you the right mouth wash. What kind of tooth paste are you using now and kind of tooth brush? I suggest consult your dentist for this uncomfortable condition.
I know, the sensitive teeth needs a special kind of tooth paste......say... SENSODENT OR THE LIKE OF IT.
The tooth brush should be the softest one with micro bristles in it.Don't brush your teeth vigorously. If it hurts even after changing the tooth paste and the brush; I think , you shouldn't use tooth brush for a while. It's better if you clean your teeth with your pointing finger slowly ang the message your gums as well.Make it a point to do the same after each meal....... light or heavy. Also, clean your tongue so that you don't get a sourish feeling afterward.OK?

God Bless

the best teeth whitening system out on the market is called GoSMile. It comes in these little ampoules and each contains pure hydrogen peroxide which has been vaccum sealed. The whole treatment is like 80 bucks and it whitens about 10 shades. Its amazing. I know its sold at sephora but dont know where else. You wont have any sensitivity with it and its comparable to what you would get in the dentist office.

Because my front teeth are already naturally sensitive, my dentist told me that the Sensodyne would tend to make all my teeth feel that way, so I quit using it.
good luck with your braces, you will be glad you had them!
