The reason I ask is I accidentally left out the dough this morning before I took off for work. I should have refrigerated it, I know...

As long as you kept it covered in a bowl or with plastic wrap, it won't get dry and will be fine. If you didn't, then it will be hard to work with because it will form a dry outer crust.

It may be a little tough from over-rising, but I'm sure it will be fine! Don't know when you get home, but it only takes about 45 minutes for dough to rise. Just refridgerate it and leave it in a warm place while you are preparing what is going on top of your pizza--much better!

i agree, it will be rubbery or non pliable to work with. if you have time after work go get a package of martha white pizza dough. i mix it with hot water and oil and it rises rather quickly, package says five minutes but i do 15. it's tastier than those doughs you buy in rolls in the dairy section.

I would NOT recommend it...the action of the yeast will cause it, first, to overflow any pan you have and second, it will be flat, hard and tasteless with the rising so far gone.

Of course, if you don't care, go ahead...it will be like eating pizza toppings on shoe leather.

No, it will take no time at all to rise when you get home from work.

Yep, it will be big and fluffy, but it will be fine.
