My girlfriend just finished school for it and now works at home doing medical transcription for our local hospital.
She is 46.
So I think you have a great chance at it.
Your never too old to learn something new.
Good luck!

Well, me too is 40 yrs old. I was a branch manager of a company. But I have decided to join BPO as CSE. Age is nothing just a number game. Don't feel shy. Go and make sure that by your experiences, you should promote to higher position that whats I am thinking of doing so.

Age is nothing but a state of mind, dont let that deter you. Just make sure you are learning the ins and outs of the bi and get proper training. Good Luck!

for BPO you should approach the nearest office and have talks across the table... medical transcription needs specific training if you are trained... just go and meet personnel dept manager of any big private hospital...
