I always over pack. I'm so worried about clothes and shoes and socks blankets and pillows, it seems like I'm still always forgetting something, toothpaste, razors THE CAMERA. All the stuff that I end up buying once we get there.

I purposely underpack so taht I don't have to check in so many bags.
I normally only pack about 3 pair of jeans for the week. Two pair of shorts. One shirt for each day. Flip flops don't take up much room so that I pack them too. Travel size toothpaste and brushes, deodorants, shampoos. Whatever is leftover when I am ready to pack up for home, I just throw away. Again, I hate carting w/ extras.
Then there are the souvenirs. I usually buy small things like magnets (because I collect magnets from every trip that I go on and put on my refrigerator for memories) and t-shirts or towels. So I have to make room for those too. Since I don't pack much to begin with, I always have room.
I do this for me, hubby and my kids. We only take two suitcases for all four of us.

Always under pack, unfortunately. And I always seem to blew it when it comes to choose a suitcase, either too small or big, or heavy, or uncomfortable.

I always overpack. You never know what the weather is going to be, or if you spill something on an outfit, so I'd rather have more than I need than not enough.

I always overpack. I like having a lot of choices. Most women probably are guilty of this.
