.IVA files tend to contain viruses, and is the reverse of .AVI. They should be deleted as soon as they are detected.

So - why would you want to convert .RAR to .IVA?

DIVX files are just video files and are recognized by Windows Media Player.

A .rar file is a compressed file that can contain any kind of a file. Think of it as an envelope with the actual file inside it. You need a program like WinRAR (free at http://download.com ) that will open the .rar file and extract the "real" file inside it.

sorry you mean avi or iva????

.rar is only a zipped format you can unzip those files by using WINRAR and it should open up the .avi file in it.

try divxdigest.com they even have free converters listed.
