If dragons never existed why does every single civilisation mention these beasts?
Why are they inscribed on walls(Babylon,Iraq), in churches, etc.
Why did Alexander the great (a man of respect to say the least,a man who knew what he was talking about)mention coming across them in India?
Why did Marco Polo(another man of high standing-and of education)mention in his notes that the emperor of mandarin,China kept dragons at his palace?
just a couple of examples there of people of competence and repute mentioning them, there's alot more for those that wish to really find answers to their questions

Garwy,no need for nastiness is there?
anyway,is it not a little too coincidental that many of those description and church inscription are,in many cases, exact representations of unearthed dinosaurs???You couldn't by any chance be prejudiced against the evidence could you?I'm glad i'm a little more open minded anyway,it's how i find out more about the amazing creation we live in,
as for citations and quotes;do your own research.

For the first, that's the artistic license of medieval painters, much like the forbidden fruit being an apple.

It's irrelevant of course, as No single horned beast that matches the biblical descriptions has ever existed.

Dragons are kinda obvious. Dinosaur fossils aren't a new invention, what do you think the primitive peoples who found them previously think they were? They fabricated myths based on them.

Alexander the Great also claimed to be the messiah. Or was claimed to be, i forget which. Either way, his idea of a dragon is markedly differnt from our's. You would have to study the issue n detail to see what he was talking about, I doubt it was anything like the picture you have in your mind.

And finally, the Chinese emperor. Kept "dragons" to pull chariots. We have a name and no description. It could have been anything with the word "dragon" used to name them.

No, unicorns did no longer exist. Your Bible replaced the information simply by fact they found out it became an errors. in the previous Christians regularly occurring that dinosaurs did exist, the beast reported in interest became reported as a hippo in some footnotes. Now the footnotes declare it became a dinosaur that they are bearing on.

I don't know if they ever existed or not, but it is a nice thought. I wish I could see a dragon in real life. I know there killers and everything, but there beautiful majestic creatures if they are what they are described as. I love fantasy things so much! <3<3<3

church decorators painted dragons on the walls of churches because they believed in them.

they had seen them painted on the walls of other churches (as you have) and therefore they knew that they were true.

i do not know of any text written by alexander the great. i am not even sure which language such a text would have been written in. perhaps you could give a citation.

there is considerable doubt whether marco polo visited china at all. there are certainly many tall tales in his account of his travels.

would you like us to all start laughing at you now?

There are many words in Scripture that we are unclear as to the exact meaning of them. Some religions make a whole doctrine on some of these obscure remarks.

Err...a lot of people talk about UFOs and Bigfoot to. Big deal.

FYI: The Greeks and Romans both found and displayed dinosaur fossils. This was almost certainly where the idea of dragons comes from.

a Unicorn is certain not a unit of corn, it is an ancient Babylonian legendary animal, and griffon, winged lions and others are part of this respectable family of legends.
