You should purchase a xbox 360 then use it as a blunt weapon to steal a ps3

The xbox 360 has a better quality of games and as the PlayStation 3 is quite new it does not have a good variety of games (anyway it's much cheaper to buy the console and games as the playstation 3 games are about £40 each whereas the xbox 360 games are around £25-£30).

Have em both, go with the PS3 ... Im on my 4th 360, they break way to fast. Still on my first PS3.
What features are you looking for?
here is the main reason for the price difference in the two consoles.
PS3= blue ray
360= buy add on Hi-def player
PS3= built in wirless
360=buy wireless add on
PS3=free online gaming
360= 80.00 a year for xboxlive
By far the 360 has more titles out there. However 80% of them are crap.
the PS3 has some solid titles but alot of their games are crap too...lol
If you do get a PS3, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank and assains creed are must haves.

well the game selection like mass effect, halo 3, orange box, assassins creed, call of duty 4, forza 2, and all the other titles that run at 60 fps instead of 30 fps or slower. we all know that majority of the games look better in side by side comparison gamevideos.com and gametrailers.com . xbox live is better services and is unified with all games though friends and messaging. you got vibration in the controller. you have a much larger marketplace on the 360 as well.
so there many reason why to get a 360 plus two free games right now if you buy one.

In reality, for the price Xbox 360 is better. Now I'm not saying PS3 isn't a great system, but the price is a little high. This is just my opinion though.

It's been out longer and is thus better established (more games, hardware, live arcade titles...).
On the downside the PS3 is quickly building steam and a large number of highly anticipated titles and hardware are nearing release.
I'd get them both but if I didn't own any of the systems right now I'd go for an early model PS3 before they're all phased out and get the 360 later.

First PS3 has almost no games. It's backwards compatability is terrible It actually makes the games look worse. 360 has games, good backwards compatability, and best of all... It doesnt cost an arm and a leg.

Ps3 Still has a lot of bugs in it and the Xbox has some rilly good games like Halo3

its cheaper
privite chats
video chats
arcade games (uno, ultimate mk3, texas hold'em, street fighter, alot more)
they have web cams
you can go on msn to
they have chat pads so u can type messages
they have wireless controllers and wired and stuff to charge ur wirless controller
awesome updates

there is no reason ps3 all the way i neva considered 360 from the moment i heard mgs4 is only on ps3
