I have a friend who did this. It is about 3,000 miles (that's an oil change). It took him 4 days of pretty much straight driving.

I did it in 5 days but it was pretty intense... all the way to Portland, OR actually. By the time I got to Portland, I was having road hallucinations (and I don't do drugs) seeing black moose on the freeway in Portland...

You can shave off 6 hours if you take the Cassiar (sp?) highway instead of the ALCAN by Watson Lake, Yukon T.
