Twice I have sold the same item with it being hijacked by Lithuanian bidder with an account in USA and UK. The first time Ebay intercepted it but haven't the second time. Given it takes 7 days for the bidding to complete its all a bit tiresome.

Anyone have similar problems.

Unfortunately there are a lot of crooks on ebay but there are also some really nice buyers and sellers. I have done a lot of buying and selling and met the idiots and theives who try to get your goods without paying. All you can do is to block bidders from overseas and those with no feedback. Only use paypal from confirmed addresses and wait for cheques to clear or use bank transfer. If you make it clear in your listings you will not post til funds are cleared and only to verified buyers the crooks might stay away.
Good luck, there are good bargains to be found and money to be made still, you just have to be very aware and careful, that is all you can do.

You are bound to get your problems on ebay. I use ebay and have done for years and i have have had a few problems. It can become very annoying sometimes, but then again i would certainly miss ebay if it was gone.
