You can play around with the interface, find some problems and make solutions of of them (like say, make a bingo program). Free, fun, and a bit frustrating at times.

Try to make simple programs first. You can then move on to playing with the text box, command buttons, etc. Take it slow and steady.

If you want to do serious stuff with it though, you gotta have one of those thick reference books, and taking up courses certainly can't hurt.

Visual Basic is easy. When I was 11-12 I learned a good amount just by reading a couple of books and scouring the internet. It's got a very user friendly interface considering that it's made for programming.

theres no easy way to learn anything, no matter how much we wish there was!

but, heres the command syntax, so you can look up the functions you'll need:

and if you Google search, you'll find a rediculous amount of online courses etc... (try looking at some of the links in Wikipedia ;) )

it relies upon what you opt to do once you're achieved. in case you opt to jot down severe performing video games for a computer, you need to use C++. it is the superb for best-overall performance structures. if opt to create purposes for domicile windows, then use seen common. it is the least complicated for domicile windows progression. in case you opt to create web content or cyber web purposes, then discovering the two Java or seen common would be efficient. JavaScript isn't comparable to Java, yet does borrow lots of its syntax cues from Java. so.. seen common has the least complicated discovering curve. Java is 2nd. and c++ is 0.33.
