I bought a game on bestbuy.com, and it is scratched. Since I bought it online, can I take it back to the bestbuy store and get another one? They didnt email me a receipt, they sent me a paper in the mail with the game.

According to their Web site, yes you can. You have either 14 or 30 days, depending on the item. If you received a packing slip instead of a receipt (typical), I would think that would be sufficient proof of purchase.

Take everything you received from the to the Best Buy store, and explain what your problem is . How did you pay? Get the receipt from the credit card company, via their web site if you can, and take it with you as well.

I work at Best Buy. The return policy for this situation is that: just bring it in and you can ONLY exchange for the same game.

Since the product is opened already, you won't be able to get your money/credit back.

Yes take it and any paperwork that you have to the nearest store. Tell them that it was scratched upon receiving it. They may try and charge you a "restocking fee", but where it was damaged, and not used, they can't, by store policy.
