I must plead the 5th on this one. Torture and execution would never have a secret forced from me!

I assumed you meant a grammatical or spelling mistake and that you mean past in that context; if so, I have to say that I am horrified at the terrible ignorant spelling and grammar from so many people on yahoo answers - I don't mean those who are not native English speakers of course

Well, I lost my best friend to cancer at 31 in 1994. She came looking for ME. This sounds deranged but whenever I'm feeling depressed, and I'm in a store or elevator, our favorite song comes on, "Don't Dream It's Over" by Crowded House, and I like to imagine she is thinking about me.

When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives means the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving much advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a gentle and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares

Passed loved ones already exist as programs in our mind. You can talk instantly to that program and it will answer just as your loved one would. For instance, I can hear my father in my head giving me the same advice that he would if he were standing right there with me.

You might be doing right that, right now.
Well I think a dead loved one is certainly needed for this, a windy night, a little lightning that should do it.
