No such thing as a free lunch ... depends on what type of errors you're talking about ... free Anti-Virus would be AVG ... then theres Adaware and Spybot Search and Destroy as Anti-Spyware and Anti-Malware ... and Zone Labs Zone Alarm as a Firewall ..... but as I said ... depends on what errors your experiencing

There are many sorts of error fixings, I don't know which one you meant by, but you could try these ones:

go to download.com there get the program named tune up utilities that will do ever thing u want to clean up errors and than goes on and on
