Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2003. It says I need a user name , initials, organization and product key,. I have no idea what this is, I know alittle about my pc, but evidently not as much as I need to. Can you please help?

Sounds like they're sending you documents and such created in Microsoft Office ... now if your computer is fairly new it may well have come with a 60 day trial of Office ... if that's the case and your 60 days or 25 uses is up ... you have two choices ... pay Microsoft for a product key (it's like $200 here) or download a compatible Office Suit like Open Office 2.3 ...Open Office is available from the net for FREE just do a google search ...it's about 115MB or so ... but it will then allow you to open all those emails you've been getting ...set it as the default for all Microsoft Products ... Office is in trial mode.

The person who installed it didn't bother to run the program for the first time, or forgot to enter the CD Key.

Ask the person who installed Office on your computer. Ask him/her to put the product key in there.
