It really depends on what kind of novels you like to read. Do you like literary novels, where the focus is on the prose and the character? Or genre novels, where the focus is on an idea or action? If you like genre novels, what genres appeal to you? Horror, mystery, science fiction, fantasy, romance?
If you edit your question and give us more information, I'd be happy to recommend lots and lots of great novels to you! :)
Edit: "Memoirs of a Geisha by ______" - Arthur Golden. :) That is a very good book.

The Pickwick papers by Charles Dickens, I have read it at least 25 times! The first time is to enjoy the story, the second time to enjoy the beautifull language, all the other times to immerse oneself in a vey pleasant 19th centrury world.
