I would be more than happy to live in a forest! I suppose they were merry because they lived a free lifestyle. They didn't have to go to work, be taxed, go hungry all they had to do was take it when they needed it. Though maybe the best reward for them was helping the poor.

It's a group of guys hanging out and drinking in forest with plenty of game to hunt and plenty of trouble to get into by stealing from the rich. Seriously, what's not for a guy to love about that situation? It sounds almost like a fraternity.

a lot of lonely, drunken guys sitting around with too much food, drink and no women.....and dressed in spandex, no less. What do you think would happen?
