because you have grown as a person.
when I was younger what people said or thought about me bothered me alot. When I got older it became less of a big deal, my priorities had changed. Now I really don't care what anyone thinks, I know I'm a fantastic person and if they can't see that its their loss. Other peoples opinions don't really make a big difference in your life in the long run. Love yourself then others will follow your good example.

The things that hurt you first time, you leant from and either dont let effect you as much, or you just know how to deal with the situation now. You have prepared yourself for the worst so you aren' surprised by it.
